Accessibility Statement

Achievable Health is committed to providing a website that is accessible to individuals with disabilities. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website in accordance with accessibility best practices and guidelines, and with the assistance of UserWay Accessibility.

Additionally, we’ve included some resources below to help improve your browsing experience on our site. We welcome your feedback

Commitment to Accessibility and Non-Discrimination

MyCare Health Center supports equal access to healthcare services and digital information in accordance with applicable federal civil rights and accessibility regulations, including:

  • Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act (Non-Discrimination in Health Programs and Activities)
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II and Title III
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
We strive to ensure individuals with disabilities have equal opportunity to access healthcare services, information, and digital tools.

Accessibility Standards and Practices

Our website is designed and maintained to support accessibility best practices, including:

  • Compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, voice navigation tools)
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation and functionality
  • Alternative text for meaningful images
  • Structured headings and semantic HTML for screen reader navigation
  • Sufficient color contrast for readability
  • Resizable text without loss of functionality or content
  • Accessible online forms with labels and instructions

  • Captioning or transcripts for multimedia content when available

Visual Assistance

If you are having difficulty viewing pages on our site, the following tips may be helpful:

  • Use your computer’s text-to-speech feature to read web pages aloud
  • Use keyboard navigation to move through pages
  • Adjust text size to improve readability
  • Magnify your screen
  • Customize background and text colors for better visibility
  • Increase the size or visibility of your mouse pointer (Windows users)

Use of Atkinson Hyperlegible™ Font

To support our commitment to inclusive design, our website uses the Atkinson Hyperlegible™ Font, developed by the Braille Institute. This font was specifically created to improve legibility for individuals with low vision and other visual impairments. Its unique design enhances character recognition and reduces reader confusion, especially between visually similar letters and numbers.

We chose Atkinson Hyperlegible™ as part of our accessibility strategy because:

  • It provides higher character clarity than many standard fonts.
  • It was tested and designed in collaboration with the visually impaired community.
  • It aligns with our mission to create an accessible digital experience for all users.

Closed Captioning for Audio Accessibility

For those who are hard of hearing or deaf, closed captioning provides a helpful solution. This feature displays spoken words on the screen, making it easier to follow along with video content, even in noisy environments.

Volume Controls for Audio Accessibility

Adjusting volume controls can also improve your experience. Check for volume controls on your device (phone, tablet, computer) as well as within the video or audio service you are using.

Alternative Keyboard and Mouse Options

If you’re unable to use a keyboard or mouse, consider using speech recognition software. This type of program allows you to navigate online through our website using voice commands rather than using a mouse and keyboard.
